About DMNB

The Dalhousie Medical Education Program in New Brunswick, known as Dalhousie Medicine New Brunswick (DMNB), is an innovative program that provides New Brunswick students with the opportunity to attend medical school in their home province. It is an expansion of Dalhousie University’s Faculty of Medicine. This distributed program brings Dalhousie’s internationally recognized reputation and research to the development of New Brunswick’s next generation of physicians.

DMNB is a partnership with the Government of New Brunswick, the University of New Brunswick (UNB) and Dalhousie’s Faculty of Medicine. The program admits 30 students from New Brunswick each year. In their first two years students attend classes in Saint John – and in their final two years they willl fan out across the province to complete their clerkships in Moncton, Woodstock, Fredericton and Miramichi as well as in Saint John.

Information regarding admission to the program is available at: http://admissions.medicine.dal.ca
